Asok Montri Road, or Soi Sukhumvit 21, is a major road in Bangkok. It is often referred to as simply Asok or Asoke. It runs north from Sukhuvmit Road and forms part of the Ratchadaphisek inner ring road. Although the road has a capacity of 35,000 more than 100,000 vehicles use the road daily, causing major congestion. The junction of Sukhuvmit Road and Asok Montri Road is a major road junction known as Asok Intersection, and is also the location of Asok BTS Station and Sukhumvit MRT Station. This intersection is very interesting to shoot and there is a great vantage point little known from tourists and photographers, which is from the parking on the 10th floor of the Exhange Tower. Just go inside the Exchange tower from the BTS skywalk, find the elevator and go to the 10th floor. You will see a big parking area usually empty. You will have all the space needed to install a tripod, check different views of the intersection and buildings around, and it's also a good place to launch your drone. There are also tons of options around for food and drinks, like Terminal 21 shopping mall, Iusually stop at Tim Ho Wan for some cheap michelin star chinese food, or Chu Chocolate Bar and Cafe in Exchange Tower. And you can also get a nice craft beer with views at the rooftop Brewski (Radisson Blu Plaza Bangkok).
