Wat Lok Moli is a temple located in Chiang Mai, Thailand. It was commissioned by King Ket of the Mengrai Dynasty sometime during the 14th century, although the exact date is unknown. Wat Lok Moli has remained an important cultural site throughout its history, housing the ashes of various Mengrai royals and serving as a home for monks who were brought over from neighbouring Burma to spread teachings on Theravada Buddhism. Aside from its cultural significance, Wat Lok Moli is renowned for its impressive architecture, featuring a large orange chedi surrounded by finely-crafted nagas, as well as an intricately designed wooden temple facade. Visitors will find this temple to be both fascinating and fun!
From there, it's also a good stop on the direction for Wat Pha Lat and Doi Suthep.
