The Balule Nature Reserve is a protected area in Limpopo Province, South Africa that forms part of the Greater Kruger National Park. It is located on the western boundary of the Park with the Olifants River flowing through it for approximately 20 kilometers. The Reserve consists of multiple smaller game reserves owned by different landowners and has become an increasingly popular eco-tourism destination. Within the Reserve it is possible to see all sorts of wildlife such as rhinoceros, buffalo, lions, leopards and antelope. There are also over 220 different kinds of birds, trees, and plenty of other fauna in the area. Visitors can stay at one of several private game lodges while exploring this unique nature reserve.
