Mu Ko Ang Thong National Marine Park, located in the Surat Thai Province east of Ko Samui in the Gulf of Thailand, is a unique coastal paradise with awe-inspiring land and sea scenery. The park covers a 102 km² area consisting of 42 islands, including Ko Phaluai, Ko Wua Ta Lap, Ko Mae Ko, Ko Sam Sao, Ko Hin Dap, Ko Nai Phut and Ko Phai Luak. The stunning limestone hills and rugged landscapes are home to an array of wildlife, from dusky leaf monkeys and long-tailed macaques to smooth-coated otters and endemic species such as Ang Thong Lady's Slipper Orchid (Paphiopedilum Ang Thong). There is something for everyone to explore, from snorkeling by the coral reefs, camping at the picturesque island of Ko Sam Sao and trekking through inland marine lakes to canoeing in the emerald saltwater lake called Thale Nai and admiring panoramic views from the Wua Ta Lap Viewpoint. Mu Ko Ang Thong National Marine Park is truly a paradise for adventurers and nature-lovers alike.
