Sani Pass is a stunning mountain pass located in the West of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa on the road between Himeville, KwaZulu-Natal and Mokhotlong, Lesotho. Spanning over 9km, Sani Pass climbs a total of 1,332m to reach an elevation of 2,876 meters and offers spectacular views from the summit. The route up Sani Pass has gradients up to 1:3, and can be treacherous in bad weather with snow and ice often blanketing the area during winter months. Embarking on an adventure drive up the pass is an experience unlike any other, and all are sure to be captivated by the magnificent beauty of this unique natural environment.
