Hout Bay is a seaside suburb of Cape Town located in the Western Cape province of South Africa. It has been an important site since pre-Colonisation times, evidenced by remains discovered in a cave dating back to 100 AD and 500 AD. The area is home to 5,960 residences and 17,900 people living between the Atlantic Seaboard and the low pass leading into Table Mountain. Today, Hout Bay is a popular holiday destination for its tourist sites, surfing, fishing, and recreational diving. Notable attractions include St. Peter's the Fisherman Church, Van Riebeeck's Boscheuwel Road and Fort Klein Gibraltar. With its stunning landscapes, fun experiences, and rich history, Hout Bay is undoubtedly one of the best places to discover in Southern Africa.
