iSimangaliso Wetland Park is an incredible natural oasis located along the east coast of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. This majestic park is home to diverse ecosystems ranging from coral reefs and sandy beaches to subtropical dune forests, savannas, and wetlands. It is a haven for wildlife diversity, boasting 1,200 crocodiles, 800 hippopotami, African lions, elephants, leopards, black and southern white rhino, Cape buffalo, whales, dolphins, and marine turtles including the leatherback and loggerhead Turtles. Along with its lush flora and fauna, iSimangaliso has also been designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in recognition of its unique ecosystems and remarkable beauty. Visitors can experience nature at its finest while exploring this incredible paradise!
