Phra Maha Chedi Chai Mongkhon in Roi Et is an incredibly impressive Buddhist temple complex. Located on top of Nam Yoi cliff, it boasts a 101-meter chedi and pagodas which shimmer in the midday sun. Inside the main pagoda there are five floors with features such as meeting rooms, murals, wall carvings, and engravings that tell the story of Buddha. The ordination hall on the third floor is particularly stunning and is home to 101 marble images of famous monks. There's also a museum on the fourth floor with lots of information about the temple’s history.
