The Palm Beach of Vai, also known as Finikodasos, is without a doubt one of the most stunning beaches in all of Crete, if not the entire globe.
The largest palm forest in Europe can be found here, and it extends all the way to the shore, making it the top attraction. The beauty of the sandy beach is substantially enhanced by the presence of around 6,000 trees, which provide shade and a pleasant strolling space. Vai Beach is located on a small peninsula in northern Crete, away from any major cities. Vai Palm Beach, one of Crete’s most fascinating attractions, was given a Blue Flag in recognition of its outstanding facilities and exceptionally high standards of cleanliness.
