The Wadden Sea is a shallow coastal area in the Netherlands located in the north. It's a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and home to a variety of wildlife, including seals, porpoises, and seabirds. Here you can do tours at low-tide where you can walk on the bottom of the sea or go seal watching by boat at high tide. This nature area has a unique biosphere and coastline, ever changing by the fluctating tides, giving it 2 faces!

The area is also popular for recreational activities such as cycling, sailing, fishing, and birdwatching. The Waddenzee is an important habitat for many species and is a protected area!

It also houses 5 unique Wadden islands, reachable by ferry, which are a popular holiday destination for tourists and locals alike.
