Meelup Beach is a hidden gem along the southwestern coast of Western Australia, perfect for a relaxing beach day. Tucked away from the crowds, it boasts a long stretch of white sands and tranquil turquoise waters ideal for swimming and snorkeling. What captivated me most was its untouched natural beauty and the serene atmosphere that embraced me the moment I set foot on its soft sand.
The beach is framed by coastal dunes and native vegetation, creating a picturesque backdrop for picnics or leisurely walks. It's a fantastic spot for wildlife enthusiasts too, I spotted a variety of birds and became best friends with an adorable parrot and even spotted a few kangaroos hopping around the dunes during my exploration.
