I’ll never get over how in New Zealand, you can drive straight up to waterfalls and park like 20 meters away, it's totally unheard of in Australia. Rere Falls is a perfect example of this. It’s a bit of a detour to get there, but once you arrive at the carpark, it’s so accessible. The falls have an impressive 20-meter drop and a pretty big pool, perfect for a leisurely swim. If you’re feeling adventurous, you can even climb up and behind the falls, but please, be careful! The rocks are super slippery because of the algae. And if you're up for a bit more fun, don’t forget to stop by Rere Rockslide just around the corner for some extra thrills!
