St Pancras railway station, now known as London St Pancras International, is a major railway terminus in central London. It serves as the arrival point for Eurostar services from Belgium, France, and the Netherlands, as well as domestic trains to various destinations in the UK. The station, praised for its stunning architecture, underwent a massive refurbishment in the early 2000s and reopened in 2007. With its iconic train shed and historic Midland Grand Hotel facade, St Pancras is not just a transportation hub but also a symbol of London's rich railway heritage. Each year, St Pancras International has a fantastic Christmas tradition of putting up a spectacular Christmas tree! In 2024, they unveiled a stunning 'Wicked' Christmas tree, in partnership with Universal Pictures UK, to celebrate the release of the film Wicked. The tree was 11 meters high and handcrafted by 20 craftspeople - a real sigh to behold, featuring intricate illuminations and nods to the Wicked story and songs. If you're ever at St Pancras around Christmas time, make sure you check out their incredible tree!
