The Cornish Arms are a unique form of heraldry used in Cornwall, UK. They often feature the colors sable (black) and or (gold), along with symbols like the Cornish chough and bezants. One interesting aspect is the use of mottoes in the Cornish language. The arms of the Duchy of Cornwall, for example, consist of sable with fifteen bezants. These arms have historical significance and are associated with the Black Prince. Overall, Cornish heraldry has its own distinctive features that set it apart from English, Scottish, and Welsh heraldry.
