As you proceed, the trail ascends (with some exposed sections) before leveling out and becoming easier. Along the way, you’ll encounter the beautiful and iconic Chapel of Timios Stavros.
You’ll also pass several small, secluded beaches, perfect for relaxing and taking a refreshing swim.
The path leads to Loutro, a former fishing village that has transformed into a popular destination. Here, you’ll find all necessary amenities, including ATMs, accommodations, restaurants, bars, and ferries to take you back to Chóra Sfakíon or Agia Roumeli.
