Ombros Gyalos, also known as Ombrosyialos, is a picturesque rocky beach located on the eastern coast of Cape Drapano, near the villages of Kefalas and Paleloni, just 26 km east of Chania. Although it doesn't have sandy shores, its crystal-clear turquoise waters make it perfect for swimming, especially for those who enjoy snorkeling thanks to its rich seabed and beautiful underwater springs. Accessible via a narrow road from the village of Paleloni, this secluded spot offers tranquility away from the tourist crowds. You’ll find a small tavern nearby.

Good to know

There is no beach here, only the option to lie on the small concrete platform or on the little rocky inlet. It’s perfect for swimming in crystal-clear water.
