Moor Sands, also known as Vernick's Cove, is a hidden gem tucked away along the South West Coast Path between Salcombe and Dartmouth in Devon.
Despite its name, don't expect to find much sand here - it's mostly shingle and smooth pebbles but its remoteness and rugged nature just adds to its beauty.
This beach is only accessed via foot along the coast path, the closest parking point being Gara Rock, or East Prawle village as an alternative.
If you’re walking along the path, be sure to bring your swim stuff as the water here is incredible for a swim. There is a bit of a climb down with help of a rope ladder for a small section to reach this beach, so pack light!
