Preacher's Cave in The Bahamas is not your average historical site. It all started back in 1647 when a group of Puritans shipwrecked on Devil's Backbone Reef and found refuge in this cave. Led by William Sayle, they created the first British settlement in The Bahamas right there in the cave. You can still see the pulpit they carved out of the rock! Plus, recent excavations have uncovered not only the remains of the settlers but also those of the indigenous Lucayan-Taíno Indians who lived there long before. So, if you're into history, adventure, and a bit of mystery, Preacher's Cave is definitely worth a visit.
