Bowen Falls is a spectacular waterfall situated in Milford Sound, Fiordland National Park, New Zealand. Standing at 162 metres tall and with a breathtaking, panoramic view of the surroundings, it's no wonder Bowen Falls is one of the most popular tourist attractions in the area. The falls are fed by the 9-kilometer long Bowen River and were named after Diamantina Bowen, the wife of the fifth governor of New Zealand, George Bowen. Visitors can enjoy the full experience as they take a boat ride on demand to the falls and marvel at the postcard scene that awaits.
