The Devils Punchbowl Waterfall is a stunning 131m sight to behold in Arthur's Pass National Park, Canterbury. Located at the northern end of Arthur's Pass village, the waterfall can be reached by following an easy 2km walking track through lush beech forest. As you ascend the track with its 150m gradual incline and steps, you may find friendly fantails and tomtits keeping you company. Once you reach the viewing platform, take in the full power and sound of the fresh mountain waterfall. If you're lucky, you might even spot a great spotted kiwi or a kea!
