Marina de Cascais ("Cascais Marina") is Portugal's third largest marina and an interesting place to visit while in this magnificent village. It it very well located, just between Praia da Ribeira ("Ribeira beach") and Praia de Santa Marta ("Santa Marta beach"). It is situated right behind Cidadela de Cascais ("Citadel of Cascais").
Much beyond the infrastructure for receiving up to 650 boats and vessels, the Cascais Marina has great restaurants and shops and is a very pleasant place to spend quality time with family and friends. The contrast between the ocean, the modern buildings and the old walls of the historic fortification is something to pay attention to.
Lusideias' recommended next step would be visiting Praia de Santa Marta, Museu Condes de Castro Guimarães and Boca do Inferno.
