Praia da Comporta ("Comporta beach") is located in the Southernmost part of the Tróia peninsula, in the district of Setúbal, Portugal. It is possible to get there by multiple means, but mainly by car, entering the Alentejo region, and by ferry lines that connect the municipality of Setúbal to the Tróia peninsula.
This is a very wide and well preserved beach with plenty of space and typical dunes' vegetation, surrounded by pine trees. The infrastructure of Praia da Comporta is also remarkable service and amenities.
Praia da Comporta is known in Portugal as a fancy place, if compared to several other nearby beaches. For a little over six years, since 2017, this beach has been a trend among locals and tourists during the Summer.
