The Blue Grotto, AKA Grotta Azzurra, is without a doubt the most famous spot in Capri. Located on the island's northwest tip, you can get here by bus, boat, or foot. While many people choose to visit, we did not.
Because of The Blue Grotto’s popularity, it is incredibly crowded and expensive (€20 for a few minutes inside). When we asked people about the tour, we heard a lot of ”busy, overrated, and only 5 minutes inside”. If that sounds terrible to you, too, don’t worry! We’ve got quieter grotto recommendations around the island to try instead.
