The Siebengebirge, or Seven Mountains, is a hill range of the German Central Uplands located on the east bank of the Middle Rhine. It has become a popular tourist destination due to its lush natural environment and majestic landmarks, such as Schloss Drachenburg. Consisting of 40-plus hills of ancient volcanic origin, it covers a large area and boasts the highest peak in the region - Großer Ölberg at 460 metres above sea level.
