Plas Newydd, Llangollen felt like a magical secret garden with so much for little legs to explore (and longer legs too)
The well maintained gravel paths, bridges, streams, wooden staircases, barefoot trail and little natural play area with a tyre trail and dens make this walk an absolute dream for toddlers.
(But don't discount this walk if you have older children too though, I'll definitely be bringing my older girls back here in the summer)

The walk around the gardens isn't far at less than 2km but if your children are a fan of water you can easily spend a few hours here as there are a lot of little spots where they can get down to the stream for a paddle, or throw poo sticks from one of the many quaint stone bridges.

The gardens are free to enter, and there is a country house on you can visit too with the best history! (If youre into 18th century lesbian power couples you're going to love this) You need tickets to enter the house, which I haven't done yet so I would love to hear thoughts from families who have!

The car park was very small so I suggest parking in one of Llangollens car parks and walking from there (10mins) or parking on the road outside BUT please park responsibly!

There are toilets and a cafe on site too.
