Ceunant Mawr Waterfalls also known as Llanberis falls, this waterfall is a short yet stunning walk from the high street in Llanberis and perfect for a family stroll. The path is an easy underfoot gravel track that leads you gently upwards through the woodland to the bottom of the waterfall.
(Please be aware the plunge pool here is not safe for swimming due to a number of accidents in recent years, but there are safer paddling areas further downstream.)
The whole walk is less than 2km and took us (including 7 and 4 year olds) about an hour including a stop to paddle and play.
You can find the trail by following the road past St Padarns church then turning right onto "Waterfall Vw". After following this road for a short while you will see a signpost for waterfall - this leads you to the out and back footpath to the falls.
