The Sanctuary of Sant Salvador is a historic monastery complex near Felanitx in Mallorca, perched on a 509-meter-high mountain. Built in 1348 to combat a plague epidemic, it now offers stunning views and a fortress-like appearance. Visitors can explore the ornate interior, including a 13th-century statue of the Virgin Mary. The road up is winding and scenic, passing through olive groves and pine forests. Once at the top, you'll be greeted by a 37-meter tower with a towering statue of Christ the Redeemer. Monks no longer reside there, but the old cells have been converted into rental accommodations and a restaurant.
