The Palace of Marivent, located in Cala Mayor, Palma de Mallorca, is a modern palace built in the 1920s and serves as the Spanish royal family's summer residence. Despite not being an official royal property, it is owned by the Government of the Balearic Islands. Queen Sofía particularly loves this place and spends most of her time there. The palace has also hosted receptions and meetings with various international figures. Built by architect Guillem Forteza Pinya, the property was originally owned by painter Juan de Saridakis before being transferred to the royal family in 1973.
