I assure you that if you visit them all, you will be very impressed with the area.
Short list of the locations:
Waterside Houses
Dabnitsa Zoo
Hadzhidimovo Zoo
Delchevo
Leshten
Kovachevitsa
I'll start with a favorite place for relaxation and enjoyment of the senses.
Complex "Waterside Houses". A favorite place for SPA with two saunas with panoramic windows. If you are not a guest of the hotel and the houses, you can safely come here and eat in the restaurant with a view of the lake and in the company of ducks, cats and other feathered creatures.
The second stop is the Dabnitsa Zoo. Just take an hour to pet and communicate with the animals. The deers are free to roam, and the camels, llamas, and alpacas are only through a low fence, which also doesn't prevent you from enjoying them.
Hadzhidimovo Zoo is the third stop. There aren't that many exotic animals here, but as a huge fan, I recommend you see it too. And there's a beautiful monastery nearby that you can combine with sightseeing.
Delchevo is a beautiful Bulgarian village, famous for the huge family tree on one of the houses. It is truly impressive to see in person.
Leshten and Kovachevitsa, on the other hand, carry the spirit of old Bulgaria. Here you will see some of the old stone roofs that are no longer made.
