The Southern Branch of the National Palace Museum (NPMSB) contains a wide range of cultural relics from the National Palace Museum. It also offers many themed exhibitions and cultural activities that are entertaining and educational. These allow visitors to see culture and art from different perspectives.

The NPMSB utilizes a contemporary museum concept. It occupies 70 hectares, with the museum on 20 hectares surrounded by 50 hectares of park. The park has beautiful landscapes, parent-child interaction areas, lake-circling trails, and public art displays. A bridge is part of a free connector system to Taiwan High Speed Rail (THSR). The museum offers a combination of culture and the arts.
