Shoushan Zoo, located in Gushan District, Kaohsiung, Taiwan, is home to a variety of animals from Asia, Africa, Americas, and Australia. Originally founded in 1978 and later moved to its current location in 1986, the zoo offers exhibitions such as the Animal Trail, Apes, Aquatic Animals, Bird Enclosure, and more. Despite facing challenges in the past, including funding and staffing issues, the zoo underwent renovations in 2009 and now provides a better environment for its residents, including white tigers. Visitors can enjoy a day exploring the diverse animal habitats and learning about wildlife conservation efforts at Shoushan Zoo.
