Manatee Springs State Park is a hidden gem in Florida, offering a serene escape into nature. With its majestic cypress forests and an 800-foot boardwalk overlooking the stunning natural spring, visitors can enjoy the cool waters and spot wildlife like manatees, birds, alligators and fish. This park is ideal for nature lovers, the beautiful waters within the spring are a hot spot for snorkelling and there is an underwater cave system here for scuba divers to explore!
If you're staying in the campground you can expect a decently sized and spaced-out campsite with full hookups! We camped here for a week and it was awesome, the armadillo and deer come right up into your campsites and couldn't care less! The wildlife at this park is truly amazing.
