GiGO Akihabara 1, which used to be the old SEGA store (I was excited to see this but SEGA was no longer there), is now something like seven floors of madness in Tokyo's Akihabara district. While it's known for its wide selection of electronics, gadgets, and anime-related merchandise, today visitors mainly find arcade games and claw machines spread across multiple floors. The vibrant atmosphere and unique offerings make it a notable spot in the heart of Japan's geek culture hub, though it's not perfect for kids - ours were the only kids in there.
