Hafnarhólmi is a small islet located at the harbor in Borgarfjörður Eystri, Iceland. It's a haven for birdwatchers, especially during the nesting season from April to August, when Atlantic Puffins, Kittiwakes, Fulmars, and Common Eiders make it their home. The locals have done a fantastic job of preserving and maintaining Hafnarhólmi, making it easily accessible for visitors to enjoy the stunning wildlife. And if you're feeling peckish, you can head to the newly built Hafnarhús - Harbour House, where you can indulge in some Icelandic delicacies while taking in the beautiful view over the harbor and Hafnarhólmi.
