Hverfjall Mountain in northern Iceland is a freaking massive volcanic crater that will blow your mind. Seriously, this thing is over 400 meters tall and one of the biggest of its kind in the whole world. It was formed by a crazy volcanic eruption like 25,000 years ago, and now it's just sitting there, looking all majestic and stuff. You can actually hike to the top and get some epic views of the surrounding landscape. It's definitely a must-see if you're into nature and want to feel tiny next to a giant volcano. A steep but short hike up a massive volcanic crater, offering panoramic views over Lake Mývatn. Windy in winter, so dress warm!
