The Monument to the Independence of Brazil, also known as the Ipiranga Monument, is a cool granite and bronze structure located in São Paulo. It sits on the spot where Prince Pedro declared Brazil's independence in 1822. Designed by Italian sculptor Ettore Ximenes, this monument celebrates Brazil's first centennial of independence. Inside, there's a crypt housing Emperor Pedro I and his wives, Maria Leopoldina and Amélie. It's like a historical time capsule honoring Brazil's past!
