Take the C-train from Copenhagen to Klampenborg - an approx 20 minutes ride through the beautiful towns just north of Copenhagen (some great, big, beautiful houses there I’m telling ya’ - just seeing these make the trip worth it by itself!).
By Klampenborg station you’ll find Dyrehaven, “The Deer Park”, a charming forest park.
Almost by the entrance of the park you’ll find the old amusement park Bakken, which is free to take a walk in all year around - and I’ll def recommend doing that!
Walking further into the massive park, you’ll find Eremitageslottet, The Hermitage Hunting Lodge, dating back to the 1700s. Quite an amazing spot! AND if you’re in Copenhagen in easter, during the summer or in week 42 you’ll be able to a guided tour around the castle 🙌
