The S.S. Klondike National Historic Site is an exciting and educational destination for the whole family. Located on the traditional territories of the Ta'an Kwäch'än Council and Kwanlin Dün First Nation in Whitehorse, visitors can learn about the impact that the arrival of the paddlewheelers had on the Yukon from the 1860s to the 1950s. Guests can explore outdoor exhibits, join guided tours, and enjoy theatre and video viewings. With so much to do, this historic site is a great way to immerse yourself in the culture and history of the Yukon.
Eryn's Tips:
You can check out the S.S. Klondike while walking the Millenial Trail (a 4.4km loop that takes you along the Yukon River and by some BEAUTIFUL views).
They are also building an escape room on the site so check out if that is open on your visit!
