Grizzly Lake Trail located within Yukon's Tombstone Territorial Park in Unorganized Yukon is a breathtaking 13.8 mile out and back trail for hikers and backpackers alike. You can choose to go to Divide Lake (6km from Grizzly Lake) and Talus Lake (6km farther than Divide) which are With a wide variety of terrain, the trail offers everything from flat surfaces to ridges and boulder fields, as well as incredible views of meadows, mountains, and lakes. This is a must-hike for anyone looking to experience birdwatching, camping, fishing, and more. Be sure to bring bug spray and wear proper footwear, as you'll need it to traverse the marshy forest, rocky trails, and steep inclines. Eryn's Tips:

• You need to book permits for this if you are planning on backpacking and you must have a bear barrel with you to complete it! Before the hike you need to go to the Tombstone Interpretive Centre to check in and get a debrief of the hike!

• You can do the 5km trail to Mount Monolith Viewpoint which is the first 2.5km of the trail! It is absolutely stunning in the fall (early August) and if you go on a weekend there are usually many other people out hiking so I have always felt super safe on the trail!

• This is a challenging trail and if you are planning on going to Divide and Talus you must be comfortable hiking down scree slopes and with wayfinding.
