Kongens Utsikt is a popular and challenging hiking trail in Krokkleiva, Viken, Norway. It takes an average of 2 hours and 30 minutes to complete, and covers 3.8 miles on an out-and-back terrain route. Springtime is especially rewarding, with wildflowers and stunning rock textures to admire along the 1,338 ft gain. The trail is named after King Karl Johan who visited this place in 1832, and the view over the Tyrifjord and the Steinsfjord is fit for royalty. Bring a canine companion, as dogs are welcome in some areas. Once you reach the top, you're rewarded with beautiful views and the satisfaction of conquering a difficult hike!
