Eidsborg Stave Church is an 800-year-old church located in the Høydalsmo County of Norway. This charming, small stave church is dedicated to St. Nicolaus and contains a number of fascinating details such as runes, carvings, and interior décor from the 1600s. The interior has been beautifully restored and the bell tower built in 1727 adds a perfect touch of beauty to this already stunning building. During summer months, visitors can take guided tours to the church three times a day and out of season, visitors can book guided tours in advance. This is a must-see experience for anyone wanting to see the remarkable history of Norway up close.
