Volefossen is one of the most impressive waterfalls in Oldendalen, Norway. The waterfall drops over a sheer cliff near the famous Briksdal Glacier, where it can be easily admired from the parking area and tourist center. Volefossen is made up of four distinct steps, with the total height coming out to an impressive 388 meters (1,272 feet). The second drop is considered the tallest at 205 meters (670 feet) as a free-falling plunge. This awe-inspiring sight is made even better when viewed from the nearby Kleivafossen trail or anywhere else throughout the valley.
