Bøsanden beach is an 800-meter-long chalk-white beach with tall tufts of grass and sand dunes, located in the town of Bø, Steigen in Norway. It's surrounded by spectacular mountains, providing a great view of the Lofoten wall in the horizon. Bøsanden beach has soft and fine sand and inviting turquoise blue waters, that can offer a lively dance when the westerly winds whip and break onto the shore. It's also a nature reserve, so camping or making fires on the beach is not allowed. Nevertheless, shelters (gapahuker) and areas around the beach allow visitors to set up camp at least 150 meters away from buildings. The perfect spot for a summer or winter day out!
