Tilting, a charming community on Fogo Island in Newfoundland and Labrador, is steeped in history and Irish culture. Settled in the 1720s, Tilting was once a hub for French fishers before becoming an exclusively Irish enclave. With its traditional fishing structures and houses, the town has been designated as a National Historic Site of Canada. The residents have maintained their heritage through generations, making Tilting a unique and culturally rich destination on the eastern coast of Newfoundland.

There's also a festival that happens every year in Tilting called Féile Tilting, which celebrates the Irish heritage and traditions of the community.
