Sarakiniko Beach is a one-of-a-kind beach in the Aegean Sea situated on Milos Island, Greece. Its unique volcanic rock formations created by the power of wind and waves are often compared to that of a 'moon-scape.' The area has been dubbed "Lunar" by locals and is a favorite spot for photographers. The beach features a small stretch of white sand and a few trees providing areas of shade. On the east side of the site, visitors can find a desert with dry plants and rocky ground where they may also catch a glimpse of a wrecked ship that has laid there since 2003. The surreal landscape of Sarakiniko makes the beach a true pleasure to explore.
