Berschnerfall is located in eastern Switzerland near the Walensee lake and is an amazing waterfall for families to explore during a day trip. The trail leading up to the waterfall is 2.5 km long. At the lookout, visitors can take in the views of the 46m tall waterfall and explore the area further by continuing across the river bridge and looping back on the trail on the other side. Beyond the views, there are plenty of activities to enjoy. Hiking, taking a picnic, even swim in the river.
HOW TO GET THERE:
Start : Berschis in Walenstadt. The loop trail to the waterfall is only 2,5 km long makes it perfect for families to hand out. Elevation gain is 200 meters only.
TIP: there is a small lookout to see the waterfall closer. Worth to hike up.
