Orto Botanico di Roma is a 12-hectare urban park located in Rome, Italy. Established in 1883 as the successor to the Papal Botanical Gardens of the Renaissance period, the park houses over 3,000 species, including medicinal plants, a Japanese Garden, bamboo groves, and cactus greenhouses. Among the noteworthy specimens of trees and shrubs are Cedrus deodara, Dasylirion glaucophyllum and Dasylirion acrotrichum, Erythrina crista-galli, and Liquidambar orientalis.
