The Savica Waterfall is considered to be one of the most stunning natural attractions in Slovenia. Located at the far end of Lake Bohinj in the northwestern part of the country, the waterfall is situated within the borders of the magnificent Triglav National Park. Its descent is 78 meters and it has been considered a source of awe and wonder for those who take the short 20-minute walk up more than 500 steps to the top. Along the way, visitors will be met with gorgeous views of lush green forests, wildflowers and a variety of wildlife. Upon arrival, adventurers will be greeted with even more spectacular views of a rainbow, emerald water, roaring falls, cascading down its rocky cliffs, and a must-see viewing platform. For those nature-lovers who crave exploration and adventure, the Savica Waterfall is an ideal destination.
