In recent years, La Giostra has become increasingly popular and with that prices have risen quite a bit, but I’ve included it on this list anyway BECAUSE it’s so popular for both locals and tourists, the ambiance is chefs kiss, and the food really IS good. When you first open the menu, before seeing any food dishes, you’ll be greeted with La Giostra’s story and mission, centered around sharing authentic food that honors Tuscan culture. They have a large menu with an equally as extensive wine list to pair with any dish you choose. The Florentine steak here is a minimum of 1.5kg and a whopping 120€, but the good part is you can easily split it amongst 3 people.
Kacie's Recommendation: The Florentine Steak is great, but if you’re feeling pasta, they make an excellent Pappardelle with Wild Boar as well as a noteworthy Pear Ravioli.
