I was walking by Osteria Pastella one day and literally stopped dead in my tracks when I saw they were making fresh pasta in the window. So naturally, I went in for a spontaneous pasta lunch, and I’m so glad I did. They make all their pasta freshly in-house, and you can taste it. The prices are a bit high compared to what you see in other restaurants around Florence and on this list, but that is purely because they DO make ALL of their pastas in-house, which takes a buttload more time and effort. If you’re looking for a place to eat delicious pasta that you can confirm was made 100% in-house, head on over to Osteria Pastella.
Kacie's Recommendation: You have to get the Tagliatelle with fresh truffle that is flambeed in a huge wheel of Grana Padano cheese. Its everything I could have hoped for and more.
